Clogged Drain Solutions That Actually Work
Why chemical drain cleaners make things worse, what safely clears a slow drain, and when a clog means something bigger in the line.

Skip the chemical cleaners
Caustic cleaners sit on top of the clog, heat up, and attack pipe walls and seals. We regularly replace pipes damaged by repeated use of store-bought cleaners.
What to try first
Hot water and dish soap for grease, a proper plunger for toilets, and pulling the sink P-trap for hair and debris solve a surprising number of clogs.
When it's not just a clog
Multiple slow drains, gurgling, or sewage smells usually mean a main-line issue — roots, a belly in the pipe, or a partial collapse. That needs a camera inspection, not a snake.
